Chaplaincy Membership

  1. Lay Chaplain: Lay chaplains are the Lords' people who feel they have been called into the ministry but do not have the experience needed to become ordained and licensed ministers and chaplains. They function like a Lay minister but provide encouragement and faith to the community. They demonstrate God’s love and mercy by showing Samaritan type kindness to others. Lay chaplains may seek their own training or training offered by Emmanuel Bible Training Institute & Emmanuel Full Gospel Assemblies Ministerial Fellowship. EFGAMF Register or Senior Chaplains, depending on their availability, may offer to be mentors for lay chaplains within their areas. The initial application fee is $100usd and the annual renewal membership fee is $75usd.
  2. Registered Chaplain: In order to keep their volunteer position or chaplaincy jobs, in many cases, registered chaplains must show proof each year that they are registered and members in good standing with the body that ordained them. They are similar to a License minister and also perform the full array services of chaplaincy. That is, they have Christ like qualities, counsel people, mediate differences etc. and work with people where they are located the initial application fee is $140usd and the annual renewal membership fee is $100usd.
  3. Senior Chaplain: Functions in the full office of a chaplain as described in 1 and 2. They must have two years of service in the ministry they have chosen. That is if the person wants to serve as a Senior Chaplain in the prison ministry, the person must have worked in the prison ministry for two years. In addition, they also receive uniform patches, lapel pin for shirt or coat, clergy emergency dashboard card, and chaplain windshield decal. The initial application fee is $175usd and the annual renewal membership fee is $125usd.
